Dan Haren was injured in todays game and is expected to be out for 60 days
Nothing like a good old "real life" abe moment for Dan Haren...

Where are you getting that he's on the 60 day DL. The reports I'm seeing
say he's got a bruise on the arm and will be evaluated today. I haven't
seen any DL time although the 15 day may not be unlikely but even that
isn't certain.

Yea that had zero source. I actually only heard the play from down the hall
my dad was watching the game. I also only saw the screen from like 30 feet
and never saw a replay. I just though someone getting hurt right after a
trade is one of those "IT NEVER HAPPENS IN MLB WHY DID IT HAPPEN TO MY
GUY" sim discussion type of things... and just felt like mentioning.

they (the angels) could have softened it up for them by making them

arizona said "no, we don't want him. you keep him."

they can of course send kazmir to the Mets. he has a nice big contract
right? and a kind of bad arm? actually not even able to pitch right now,
even up to his usual poor standards? perfect for the mets. they need him.
that is a thing that must happen. Omar is probably working the phones
right now (omar could send ike davis to the mariners for chone figgins
also. the mets need chone.)

kazmir in the role of victor zambrano would have a nice symmetry to it. do
the mets have a top pitching prospect left to send to the angels though?
